Anuradha Khadka
Anuradha Khadka, likes to be called Anu, shorter version of her name. Originally from Nepal, she has called Australia her home since 2009. Since moving to Dubbo 2021 she has been actively involved in the community.
She always likes to upgrade her knowledge and skills. It has been demonstrated by her dedication on completing three different masters degrees in Australia. She has been working in community sector since the beginning. She has nearly 10yrs collective experience working in disability, mental health and aged care sector as a case manager. She prides herself on making positive difference in peoples’ lives.
Since moving to Dubbo, Anu has been actively working with Dubbo Nepalese Community Australia (DNCA), a community association. She has a passion for preservation of Nepalese culture and language. She has been serving as Principal of Nepalese language school called Nani Babu Pathshala since it beginning in 2023. Moreover, she actively participates in volunteer initiatives run by DNCA like Blood Donation, Park Run, Cultural activities to name some. To honour her efforts, ORISCON has awarded her with Community Service Award 2024.
Anu has taken one step further to serve this community by becoming a part of ORISCON as Management Committee Member.
