I am Jas Thind, a new committee member of Oriscon. Originally from Punjab, India. Residing in Australia from last 15 years
I embarked on my academic journey with a Bachelor’s degree in science and education. However, Life had a different plan for me, alongside my husband, we ventured into the world of entrepreneurship, founding and nurturing a business together. I love what I do, which results I have been awarded a Manager of the Year Franchisee Award in 2010 and 2016.
Beyond business, I am deeply passionate about community engagement. I feel very privileged to be a part of Oriscon family, where I can help my community, even if it's through a small job. Meeting new people, understanding their needs and contributing positively to their lives has been a driving force.
Whether through our business initiatives or personal endeavours, I strive to make a meaningful impact in the Dubbo region. I am an individual driven by passion, guided by purpose, and fueled by a desire to make a difference.
My journey is also marked by love for adventure and exploration. Dubbo’s vibrant culture and rich history have provided ample opportunities to immense myself in diverse experiences. Looking ahead, I am excited about the future and the endless possibilities it holds.
